She's the motivator and organiser behind MUGSTOP. as well as taking on the roles of marketing, PR, branding, creative direction and strategic planning. |
SAMMYSammy has been teaching for the last 10 years; in schools, colleges and privately, covering a multitude of instruments and music related subjects.
He loves how accessible and fun the ukulele is for a wide range of people which is what led him to create the ultimate Online Ukulele Course! |
OUR PHILOSOPHY
With MUGSTOP. we want to encourage people to take some time out for themselves; grab a cuppa, get creative and learn some ukulele. Our current society is full of busywork and everyone feels rushed or pressured to do certain things. People feel too old to start learning an instrument or too busy to do the things they enjoy.
We want to bring Denmark's work/life balance and relaxed attitude to the rest of the world, while making musical education fun and accessible to anyone who wants to learn. In the age of arts education in schools declining and the self care trend growing, we're combining the two, with the help of the most happy and fun instrument in the world, the ukulele.

The ultimate goal for us is to have a little music cafe; lessons can take place in the evenings and the day times will be for customers to get their fill of coffee and vegan cakes. Our coffee shop will align with our values, providing a clutter free environment (and menu) and we will strive to reduce waste as much as possible:
